Arrive into Edinburgh by flight or train to meet at Edinburgh Airport (EDI) or Edinburgh Haymarket Train Station by midday. Here a member of the Prime team will collect you for the drive North into the Scottish Highlands.
The drive will take around 3 hours. This afternoon you have time for a short forest walk before your (included) welcome dinner with your fellow adventurers.
HOTEL - The Cairngorm Hotel or similar
This morning, head South-West (1 hour) to The Falls of Bruar. The tumbling waters and rock pools make this a perfect place for canyoning while a purpose-built pathway makes for a rewarding walk with some spectacular views.
You can opt to try canyoning or enjoy the walk. This afternoon drive (1 hour) to the 19th century baronial Ardverikie Estate, made famous from the BBC series Monarch of the Glen.
Try your hand at clay pigeon shooting with a glorious backdrop of the shimmering loch and distant mountains.
HOTEL - The Cairngorm Hotel or similar
This morning you have a relaxing canoe ride to the location of a fantastic osprey hide. This is the best spot in the UK to spot and photograph wild Ospreys.
After your morning of serenity transfer to a Scotch whiskey distillery to learn about the production process and taste some fine whiskies. The drive will take around 1 hour, stop off at the majestic Ruthven Barracks on route to break up the journey. Warm from the whiskey, continue onto Edinburgh, which will take a couple of hours.
Enjoy a meal in central Edinburgh and a few drinks this evening with your fellow travellers.
HOTEL - The Balmoral or similar
Breakfast is included this morning, then make your way to the airport or train station for your onward travel. If you would like to extend your stay in Edinburgh we would be more than happy to help with your further arrangements.
